W When it comes to keeping food, freezing, storing, taking away and warming up food, I probably already pretty much tried everything. The good old cling film and her dubious friend Alufolie come to me so only very reduced used. For sustainability reasons. What I like most about it are storage containers that I can use for anything that really keeps absolutely tight (who ever had his whole salad dressing in the morning at half past eight on the way to work in the S-Bahn on the new Dress had, knows pretty much what I'm talking about) and then walk into the dishwasher quite uncomplicated. Year after year, over and over again.

There's probably no jar - with or without a sales party - that was not yet mine. Most of them have been retired sooner or later. Mostly because they just did not really keep tight and leaked in the fridge, in the pushchairs or in their handbags. Only the Lock & Lock cans, which have remained stubborn. Because they can do (almost) everything and are tight. I am a convinced fan of the system with the four Klack-Klack tabs and have them in a variety of plastic versions (of course, BPA-free, ne).

From the parent with annual feed donation to the buffet -Muddi in continuous use

Currently, however, a new challenge in my life as a mistress: I have become Buffet Muddi. In recent years, I had only very sporadic missions as a parent or guardian who had to bring food on official occasions. In the kindergarten this was actually just the annual organic birthday cake plus a (always unpleasant short-term) organic muffin donation at the summer festival. At school, you now pursue your own nutritional concept, which is completely implemented in the school kitchen - food from outside is not desired. So far, so easy.

But now - now the kid is doing rugby (HRC - Hamburg is red-black! YAY !!!). And it is obligatory for the parents to organize the buffet for training, games and tournaments. The aggravated situation: There are an incredible number of French parents, who (god-given) come up with the most incredible treats. The man always comes back from training with the child with sparkling eyes and explains vividly the rolls, casseroles, layered dishes and fine salads, which are offered for a small fee at the club buffet. And that's where I have to go now. That's how it looks. Of course I am fully prepared to represent the family honor in the most delicious way. Yes, yes!

Since a good presentation is already known to be half the battle, I will carry out a small upgrade for my buffet donations: Lock & Lock is also available in the version with borosilicate glass and chic colorful covers as a multi -Vorratsdosen baking dish version. The unbreakable glass can be moved from the fridge to the microwave, from the freezer to the oven, then into the dishwasher and stores or transports dry ingredients or already prepared dishes to air, aroma and water. And to serve at the buffet, at brunch or at the table, the glass version is simply the ultimate touch more chic than the plastic number.

So. Buffet Muddi is thus maximally equipped. And first, I'll make a Big Mac salad. Green salad (Roman rather than iceberg) meets ground beef, sturdy cheddar, gherkins, onions, tomatoes, cucumbers and the replica of the famous Big Mac sauce.Ha!

Small Food Blogger Fun Fact: Also in my package from QVC was a cast frying pan made by Woll. I put it on the stove first with water and a few drops of washing-up liquid to put it into operation, so to speak. And forget. While I calmly surfed the internet, the pan was set on the stove for 45 minutes in full heat. The water had been overcooked for a long time - until at some point a very strange smell startled me. THE PAN! ON THE STOVE! I'm like a flash in the kitchen, the pan from the stove, the window on ... of course I've assumed that I have thoroughly and forever shredded things, I stupid cow. But after a rinse and a few drops of olive oil things looked almost brand new. Maybe it's actually because of the diamond dust in the coating. Or because the pan with abgeklippten style in the oven can. Anyway, so if you are looking for a pan that you can use to do all kinds of things, then I can recommend this very hot , alright.
